Woods accomplished the feat with the Hurricanes’ 58-37 win Tuesday over Jefferson.100: Wins for Smithson Valley girls basketball coach David Farber during his four-year tenure at the school. Farber, who previously coached the Bandera girls and Copperas Cove and Fort Worth Castleberry boys teams, reached the mark with the Rangers’ 44-42 decision over Judson on Feb. 1.200: Career wins for Brandeis girls basketball coach Jennifer Brewer, who reached the standard with the Broncos’ 70-38 triumph over Taft. Brewer, who guided Brandeis to the Region IV-6A final in 2017, previously coached at East Central.500: Career victories for Randolph boys basketball coach Tim Gendron, who reached the milestone with the Ro-Hawks’ 74-56 win over Gervin Academy. Gendron is 500-173 in 22 years at the school, and guided Randolph to the Class 3A state final in 2015 before falling to Brock 37-32.1,000: Career points for Antonian sophomore Gavino Ramos, who reached the plateau during the Apaches’ game Tuesday vs. Austin St. Dominic Savio. He is the eighth area player this season to reach the milestone joining teammate Juan Reyna, Saint Mary’s Hall’s Ben Eugster and Avery Eugster, Johnson’s Zach Keller, O’Connor’s Brendan Wenzel, Marshall’s Sayvon Frye and Boerne Champion’s Nathan Ghavidel.
