Clint Black comes to Beaumont

Country star Clint Black will be performing at the Julie Rogers Theatre on Thursday, August 4 at 7 p.m. Tickets for the artist’s Beaumont debut go on sale June 24 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at the Beaumont Civic Center Box Office, Ticketmaster locations or ticketmaster.com.

Black is on his “On Purpose” tour featuring songs from his newest self-produced album, “On Purpose.” Some featured songs performed are: “Only One Way to Live,” “Stay Gone,” “Breathing Air” and “The Last Day.” On the upbeat side of his show he will perform songs “Beer” and “Better and Worse.” This is the first album Black has put out within the last decade.

“To me, it’s only a ‘comeback’ in that I’m putting out something new,” says the award-winning singer-songwriter. “As someone who has never stopped working, I don’t see me as having gone away, as I tour extensively, write and produce for television, films as well as other artists.”
