HINTON, Iowa | Sandra Katherine Yoerger, 75, of Cabot, Ark., formerly of Hinton, passed away Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, at home, surrounded by family.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph Cemetery, Ellendale, Iowa, with the Rev. Don Ries officiating. Visitation with family will be 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, with a vigil service at 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City. Condolences may be expressed at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Sandra “Sandy” was born on March 30, 1941, in Sioux City, to Harold and Mable (Angove) Beaulieu. Sandy grew up on the family farm in Hinton. She attended grade school at Liberty, and graduated from Bishop Heelan High School in Sioux City.

On Nov. 28, 1959, Sandy married Larry Yoerger. They had two sons and three daughters.

Sandy began her career at the county attorney’s office in Sioux City. She worked there until 1980, when her family moved to Cabot. Sandy remained working at The Furniture Store in Cabot as her health allowed.

Sandy was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church and The Ladies of the Knights of Columbus. She enjoyed golfing, cooking for her family and, most of all, her grandkids and great-grandkids.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Craig Yoerger; two sons, Steven Yoerger and Bradley (Sherry) Yoerger; three daughters, Sherri (Joseph) Bock, Cindy (Steve) Cruse and Patricia (David) Porter; four brothers, Jim (Bernice) Beaulieu, Dick (Mary) Beaulieu, Kenny (Janie) Beaulieu and Bill (Rose) Beaulieu; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Mable Beaulieu; and a daughter-in-law, Cynthia Yoerger.
