Beaver Dam defeats Watertown boys

WAUNAKEE — Senior guard Connor Kelm led all scorers with 22 points as Beaver Dam’s boys basketball team earned a 54-45 win over Watertown in the Badger Challenge crossover game between fifth-place teams in their respective divisions on Saturday.

Kelm is averaging 7.4 points per game. He hit three 3-pointers for Beaver Dam (9-6, 3-4 Badger North). Senior guard/forward Jordan Schwanke and sophomore point guard Nate Abel each added 10 for the Golden Beavers.

Watertown (6-6. 3-4 Badger South) was led by senior forward Noah Jeseritz with 12 points. The Goslings host Oconomowoc on Tuesday.
