Crossroads House of Watertown opens new home for families in need
Crossroads House of Watertown announces the opening of a second transitional house for homeless and near homeless families.
Several area businesses have been very supportive of this endeavor and have contributed in preparing the house for use by a family that needs to use Crossroads services to help them get back on their feet.
Crossroads extends their thanks to Al Dittmar, Carroll Electric; Steve Saniter, A & S Plumbing; Bob Eske, Tri-County Craftsmen; Mike Yenser, Y’s Way Carpet Cleaning and Dale Ninmann of Dale’s Service and Refrigeration.
Crossroads House began in 2001 and has helped hundreds of families through the original transitional house, rental assistance or entry assistance that helps them get into available housing.
Applications are available to eligible families living in the Watertown school district area and can be picked up at Community Action Coalition or Watertown Health Department.
This house currently is in need of the following items: twin beds, bedding, blankets for a double bed and dressers. For anyone willing to donate any of these items, please call Joyce Hughes at 920-261-9459.
