Orea Hot Chocolate is big ol’ mug of goodness at Dunkin’ Donuts
Cold winter nights. Hot chocolate. The irresistible flavor of Oreo cookies.
Imagine you’ve been dunkin’ Oreo cookies in a tall glass of milk. You know those last few sips of milk, crumbly with Oreo cookie flavor? Now get all warm and cozy, think cuddling in front of a fireplace. That’s what Dunkin’ Donuts’ new Oreo Hot Chocolate is all about.
The drink has Dunkin’s tried-and-true hot chocolate with a jolt of Oreo cookie and vanilla crème flavor. Yeah, I’d say Dunkin’ Donuts is onto something here. It’ll take the chill off ya.
You want to take this completely over the top? Try a large Oreo Hot Chocolate and a couple of doughnuts for dipping and mushing - might I suggest chocolate cake or plain glazed? French crullers are so light and airy - what harm could they do?
Oreo Hot Chocolate is Dunkin’s companion to its Original Hot Chocolate and Dunkaccino, the hot chocolate and coffee mashup. The only red flags are calories and fat grams. This is no diet drink. A couple of these and you’re almost halfway home on your allotted daily intake. Sadly, that’s how this Oreo cookie crumbles.
But that’s just the way Dunkin’ Donuts does things. Big time. In 1996, Dunkin’ decided to sell bagels. On that day, Dunkin’ became the No. 1 seller of bagels in the country. Same with coffee. Today, Dunkin’ pours 1.9 billion cups of hot and iced coffee a year.
And there’s only way for Dunkin’ to go from No. 1 - even higher. The company has plans to more than double its number of shops in the U.S. to more than 17,000.
