Comedian Pete Davidson performing New Haven gig
Comedian Pete Davidson, who has been in the news in recent weeks for his high-profile relationship and split from singer Ariana Grande, will be performing stand-up Friday, Jan. 11, at New Haven’s College Street Music Hall, the venue announced today.
The show is billed as Pete Davidson & Friends, although the website hasn’t listed the other performers as yet.
The 25-year-old “Saturday Night Live” cast member returned to the stand-up stage last week for two sold-out shows in Boston and Medford, Mass., two weeks after an Instagram post raised concerns that he was having suicidal thoughts following his split from Grande.
New York City police were concerned about Pete Davidson after he wrote “I don’t want to be on this earth anymore” on Instagram in December. And they visited the “Saturday Night Live” star to make sure he was OK.
Davidson appeared on the live taping of SNL that night. He was also present at the Golden Globes on January 6.
College Street Music Hall, 238 College St., New Haven. Friday, Jan. 11, 7 p.m. $45. All ages. Click here for info and tickets.
