Western Energy: 4Q Earnings Snapshot
CALGARY, Alberta (AP) _ Western Energy Services Corp. (WEEEF) on Thursday reported a loss of $39.6 million in its fourth quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Calgary, Alberta-based company said it had a loss of 42 cents. Losses, adjusted for asset impairment costs, came to 8 cents per share.
The drilling services company posted revenue of $34.7 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $61.1 million, or 66 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $148 million.
The company’s shares closed at 22 cents. A year ago, they were trading at 26 cents.
