Starbucks’ latest drink looks like a Christmas tree and tastes like the holidays

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Following the buzzworthy rollouts of its colorful Unicorn and Zombie Frappuccinos, Starbucks unleashed its latest made-for-Instagram beverage to customers Thursday.

The festive Christmas Tree Frappuccino looks just like the Fraser Fir in your living room, minus the presents, the mess, and the inability to drink it.

The beverage is essentially a Peppermint Mocha Crème Frappuccino, topped with a green matcha whipped cream in the shape of a Christmas tree. The tree’s garland is made from caramel drizzle while the ornaments are candied cranberries. Instead of a star or an angel, it’s topped with a strawberry.

While caffeine is essential for many during this time of year, the drink ironically contains no coffee.

The Christmas Tree Frappuccino will cost you about $5 for a grande and set you back 420 calories. It’s available now through Dec. 11.
