No injuries reported in Florida school bus, SUV crash
SUMMERFIELD, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say no injuries were reported when a Florida school bus driver backed into an SUV after apparently missing a turn.
The Ocala Star-Banner reports that the crash occurred Wednesday in Summerfield.
Florida Highway Patrol says the Marion County Public Schools bus driver stopped in the middle of a road after passing another street. The SUV had stopped behind the bus, and troopers say the bus hit the other vehicle when it started to reverse.
Four students and two staff members were on the school bus.
The bus driver was cited for improper backing.
