Professional artist Katherine Cox to exhibit at Hutton’s
SOUTH POINT — Retired Director of Education at Huntington Museum of Art, teacher and artist, Katherine Cox, will be the second guest artist to exhibit in Hutton Wayfarer Gallery’s Cathedral Room and Wayfarer Room.
“Lost in Pencil Town,” Drawing Exhibition by Katherine Cox will be shown from Saturday, April 27 through Saturday, May 25 at the Hutton Wayfarer Gallery, 52 Private Drive 250, County Road 144 in South Point.
“Lost in Pencil Town” will include selections of artwork from the past 15 years of Katherine Cox’ art making life. During the artist talk, Cox will reveal some of the stories about the drawings as well as the inspiration behind many of them.
There will be an opening reception from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 27 with an artist talk by Cox at 3 p.m. followed by optional Hutton Art Studios Tour.
Professional artist and Marshall University Art Faculty Emeritus, Robert P. Hutton will exhibit various 2-D and 3-D artwork throughout the two floors of remaining gallery rooms.
