City, county leaders to discuss future of Raleigh and Wake County
City and county leaders will come together Tuesday to outline their expectations and goals and to discuss what the future holds for Raleigh and Wake County.
The Greater Raleigh Chamber Of Commerce is sponsoring the event at 11:30 a.m. at the North Ridge Country Club.
Previous discussions have provided information on development, infrastructure, public safety, education and parks and recreation.
Leaders say Wake County continues to grow by 67 people a day, and businesses continue to move to the area. In Tuesday’s discussion, county and city leaders will talk about everyday issues that impact the future of the communities here.
The chair of the Wake County Board of Commissioners, Raleigh’s mayor and the managers of both the city and county will be present.
