Four arrested in connection to Florence County burglary, armed robbery
FLORENCE, S.C. – Four people have been arrested in connection with a recent burglary and armed robbery, according to the Florence County Sheriff’s Office.
On or about the night of Jan. 24, Raequawn Graham, 20, of Johnsonville and Jaquavian Antwan Canty, 18, of Hemingway are accused of entering the home of the victim on Allie’s Court in Florence County for the purpose of robbing the victim, according to investigators. The home is near East National Cemetery Road and Florence Regional Airport.
Both subjects were armed with firearms when they entered the residence, according to investigators.
Once inside, the subjects robbed the victim of several firearms, a cell phone and cash of an undetermined amount, according to investigators.
Kathryn Victoria Taylor, 18, of Florence and Alexa Danielle Gainey, 21, of Florence also were arrested and charged with conspiracy and accessory before and after the fact, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
Taylor and Gainey are alleged to have conspired with Graham and Canty to commit the burglary and robbery and provided material assistance both before and after the crimes, according to investigators.
Gainey, Graham and Canty are being held at the Florence County Detention Center after being denied bond by a Florence County Magistrate. Taylor was released Friday from the Florence County Detention Center after posting a $15,000 surety bond.
