Hudock Voted Parish Volunteer Of The Year At St. Andre Bessette
Anna M. Hudock was voted Parish Volunteer of the Year at St. Andre Bessette, Wilkes-Barre. Hudock is involved in many parish functions. As head of the Social Justice Council, she oversees the annual Remembrance Mass and holiday Giving Tree, and she coordinates visits to parishioners who are homebound or reside in nursing facilities. She serves as an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist at Masses and at the local hospital. She is a member of the parish choir and a lector at daily Mass. She also serves on various parish committees and volunteers at numerous parish events. She is a member of the board of the Slovak Heritage Society of NEPA and serves as its recording secretary. She is also treasurer of FCSLA Branch 172. Hudock was recognized for her service at the annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner honoring all parish volunteers on Nov. 11. From left, are the Rev.
