Social studies: On Pink Agenda: Gala to help fight cancer

March 29, 2017

The next generation of breast cancer research warriors comes out in full force Saturday night at the Pink Agenda’s annual Boston fundraising gala.

As the little sister to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the group of young supporters (many of whom have been personally touched by the disease) is dedicated to raising money and awareness and finding a cure.

Hosted by WCVB’s Antoinette Antonio and held at the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology, the party promises to be as inspiring as it is fun, with auctions, cocktails, desserts and entertainment by cover band rockers Legends of Summer.

The event also will recognize FAB-U-WISH, a program created by E!’s Giuliana Rancic, and honor Angela Lanoue, the Pink Agenda Boston champion, and Katie Marvinney, their FAB-U-WISH recipient.

Tickets: $150; 501auctions.com/tpaboston.
