LAKE MILLS -- Lake Mills High School, in conjunction with the Lake Mills Rotary Club, held its 30th annual academic awards and 19th annual scholarship night Sunday in the auditorium at Lake Mills High School.

Greg Renz, Rotary Club president, gave the welcome and introduction. Remarks were then made by Cale Vogel, Lake Mills High School principal. Scholarships were then dispersed by numerous different people representing their specific scholarship.

Academic awards presentations were announced by Vogel; Diane Sweeney, high school guidance counselor; and Todd Patton, high school science teacher.

Students received either an academic letter, medallion or plaque based upon points received throughout their high school years each semester. Seniors received a third quarter “last chance” to earn points. Students receive two points for high honor roll (3.5 and above) and one point for honor roll (3.0-3.49).
