Lyman Homan, 91, of Beecher, passed away Friday (May 4, 2018) at his home.
He was born on Sept. 25, 1926, in Grant Park, the son of Leonard and Emilie Homan.
Surviving are his children, Garry (Christine) Homan, of Beecher, Bonnie (Merle) Krapf, of Lugoff, S.C., and Barbara Zasada, of Bourbonnais; six grandchildren, Wendy, Jason (Sara), Stacy (Shay), Andrew, Kyle and Lilly; as well as a great-grandchild, Abigail.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Donna Homan, who passed away in 2009; and his siblings, Eldon and Dolores.
Lyman was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grant Park, and was a farmer all his life.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 7, at Hack Funeral Home in Beecher. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 8, also at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Grant Park.
