LINCOLN – The Nebraska Sports Council has opened its annual statewide competition to determine who will perform the Star Spangled Banner at the Cornhusker State Games Opening Ceremonies.
This year, auditions will be open to groups of two or more who are interested in performing the National Anthem at the Cornhusker State Games Opening Ceremonies. Last year, when the competition was open only to individuals, Nathan Bonsall, a vocalist from Kearney won the competition.
To enter, groups must upload one audition video to www.YouTube.com and email the video link to email@example.com by April 8th at midnight.
