3-alarm Fire Hits Wilmington Home

WILMINGTON -- Firefighters extinguished a 3-alarm fire early Thursday morning at a house on Nassau Avenue.

At around 3:30 a.m., firefighters responded to 38 Nassau Ave. for the blaze in the attached garage.

The four occupants of the single-family home were able to get outside. There were no reported injuries.

The fire was contained to the garage. It took firefighters about 90 minutes to get everything under control. Area departments, including Tewksbury, Billerica, Burlington and Andover, helped in the coordinated team effort.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
