Breast center adds board members
Bridgeport Hospital’s Norma Pfriem Breast Center has added two new members to its President’s Council.
Jessica Gray has lived in Fairfield for six years and is the owner/operator of ZenRide Spinning Studio. ZenRide allows Gray to teach, get involved with the Fairfield community and give back by hosting fundraisers to support local teams, schools, non-profits and organizations like the Norma Pfriem Breast Center.
Jennifer McCollum, a Westport native, has lived in Fairfield since 2007. McCollum worked as a computer engineer for Northrop Grumman and Priceline.com before leaving work to raise her family of three children. She volunteers at Roger Sherman Elementary and chaired the PTA’s Holiday Giving Fair. In 2011, after the birth of her second daughter, McCollum discovered she carried the BRCA gene, which has been associated with an elevated risk of breast cancer.
Part of Bridgeport Hospital and the Yale New Haven Health System, the Norma Pfriem Breast Center has served more than 30,000 women and their families since it was established in 1999. For more information call 203-255-5300 or visit the Center on the web at www.bridgeporthospital.org/cancer/breast.
