Conemaugh Memorial welcomes hospitalists
Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center has welcomed hospitalists Erica Wentz and Rohan Parikh to its medical staff.
Both physicians will provide inpatient services through Apogee Hospitalists.
Erica Wentz, MD
Dr. Wentz provides hospitalist services at Conemaugh Miners Medical Center in Hastings.
She will continue to provide care at Conemaugh Miners, and will provide inpatient consults for patients through Conemaugh Memorial’s Family Medical Center.
Dr. Wentz earned her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine, Portsmouth, Dominica West Indies. She completed a family medicine residency at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.
Rohan Parikh, MD
Dr. Parikh is board-certified in internal medicine. He earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, Portsmouth, Dominica West Indies.
He completed an internal medicine internship at Hahnemann University Hospital at Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia. He will provide inpatient hospitalist services at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
“The Hospitalist specialty allows me to treat a large variety of patients with diverse illnesses and concerns,” said Dr. Parikh. “It’s rewarding to help treat these patients and help them to return home.”
