Stacy A. Guptill, 53, Beaver Dam, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.
The visitation will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Monday, May 6, from 4 until 7 p.m. There will also be a visitation at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Beaver Dam Tuesday, May 7, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
The former Stacy Ann Stiller was born March 9, 1966, in Lansing, Michigan, to Steve and Nancy (Jessup) Stiller. She was a 1984 graduate of Dodgeland High School in Juneau. Stacy became a certified nursing assistant and worked at Clearview Nursing and Rehabilitation center in Juneau where her specialty became working with residents in the brain injury center, retiring after 33 years. On Jan. 30, 1988, Stacy was united in marriage with Thomas Guptill. Together they did adult foster care for 21 years, helping countless grateful families. Stacy was also a caretaker for all animals, especially horses. She enjoyed cooking, reading and gardening. Stacy will be remembered always as a kind, compassionate and loving soul.
Stacy is survived by her husband and best friend, Thomas; father, Steven (Irmgard) Stiller; special daughters, Michelle (Jose) Zarate and Jasmine (Preston Turner) Guerrero; brothers, Scott Stiller and Joel Stiller; sister, Jackie (Rob) Gardner; stepsisters, Diane (Tim) Gerwig and Cheryl (Kory) Karge; sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Clark, Charlene Guptill, and Ann (Mark) Van Loo; her No. 1 grandson, Liam; nieces and nephews; cousins; and several other loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl (Mary Anne) Jessup, Brian (Betty) Stiller and Murl (Madaline) Bonesteel; mother and stepfather, Nancy and Dennis Bonesteel; and parents-in-law, James and Una Mae Guptill.
