WILSONVILLE — Umpqua Valley Christian took down North Clackamas Christian 4-1 Friday night in the Class 1A Special District 6 Conference tournament championship game.

Gage Reeves put UVC on the board on a pass from midfielder Jayden Fong. The Monarchs (12-1, 9-1) stretched their lead over North Clackamas (9-2-3, 7-1-2) to 2-0 when Jacob Luther scored with an assist from Aaron Buechley. It turned out to be all the offense UVC needed for the contest.

“It was a 15-man total team effort tonight to get this win,” UVC head coach Dan Reeves said. “Those kids are losing their minds right now they are so excited and I couldn’t be happier for them... Four of these guys I’ve coached since they were in the second grade, and now they are seniors.”

Gage Reeves led the team with a pair of goals while Luther finished with two assists.
