Domestic violence and thefts reported in Lawrence County

IRONTON — The following information was compiled from Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office reports:

ROBBERY: A 73-year-old Chesapeake area woman reported last week that her live-in boyfriend pushed her to the ground and punched her in the face before taking her credit card. A sheriff’s deputy arrested William S. Patrick, 31, of Township Road 1128, Chesapeake, on a charge of robbery and transported him to jail.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Responding to a domestic call, a sheriff’s deputy arrested Christopher J. Douglas, 23, of County Road 1, South Point, on charges of disrupting public service and a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence. A 36-year-old South Point area woman reported Douglas punched her in the face and choked her. Douglas was transported to jail.

IDENTITY THEFT: A 32-year-old Chesapeake woman reported last week that someone used her name and charged two doctor visits on her credit card.

DRUG POSSESSION: Following a traffic stop, a sheriff’s deputy arrested Heather Ann Fisher, 35, of the 900 block of 21st Street, Huntington, on charges of possession of drugs (meth) and misdemeanor theft. A passenger in the vehicle also was arrested on outstanding warrants from West Virginia.

BREAKING AND ENTERING: Responding to a call, sheriff’s deputies arrested Thomas Lewis, 45, and Alvin D. Lewis II, both of Private Drive 2183, Chesapeake, after they admitted being in an abandoned house to steal copper. Both were transported to jail.
