Police: Suspect arrested in shooting; 2 killed, 4 injured
PHOENIX (AP) — A suspect is in custody following an early morning shooting that left two people dead and others wounded following an argument at a Phoenix house party.
Police didn’t immediately release the suspect’s identity Tuesday.
But they say the 29-year-old man surrendered after an officer spotted him driving a vehicle with a flat tire several hours after the shooting.
The suspect reportedly left the party after the altercation early Tuesday and later returned, knocked on the door and began shooting party-goers when the door opened.
The shooter then fled again.
Police say a 17-year-old girl and a man in his 30s were killed in the shooting. Their names haven’t been released.
Witnesses told police the altercation might have involved some sort of relationship between the suspect and someone at the party.
