Online court records indicate Abraham Saenz-Banegas pleaded guilty to one count of felony attempted assault in January and was sentenced on Friday to five years in community corrections.

Prosecutors dropped four counts of attempted-first degree murder, illegal discharge of a firearm and violent crime sentencing enhancements, according to online court records.

Longmont police arrested Saenz-Banegas the day after the incident and alleged that he fired a shot at a pickup truck in the parking lot of Circle K, 605 S. Emery Street. Two men inside the truck were not injured, but a bullet struck the truck’s bumper.
