Orchids and Onions: Monday, August 27, 2018
Another beautiful day in Havasu...
Orchids to Dust Bunny Cleaning for the awesome job you provide. Your girls have been great while you are down, but miss you. Thank you so much!
Onions to the hotel manager for trying to kick me off the property. I’m not a hotel guest but since when did you need to pass a background check to visit a friend?
Orchids to Dr. Powar and her entire staff. The surgery center people are great. Thanks also to Sharon and Lisa, the two nurses who prepared me for my procedure. It’s always a pleasure to see those two. Thank you. June
Orchids to the lady who used to walk the island at 6ish every morning with a bag picking up the trash that everyone left. Have not seen her for weeks. Hope you are ok. Pat
Orchids to the sweet lady who returned the items left under my grocery cart back to the store. I had a large order and the bagger didn’t tell me he had put items there. Thank you for your honesty.
Orchids to the onion about the poorly groomed food handlers at the place. Where are the hairnets, where are the plastic gloves, where are the volunteers to raise the quality of help to higher standards? Maybe a trip to a few AAA rated kitchens would mean an increase in standards and food sales.
Orchids to more bike paths. As our roads continue to deteriorate, it won’t be long before bicycles will be our only means of transportation in this city. Hopefully, all the expensive signs will still be standing.
Orchids to those folks having so much stuff, they don’t have room to store it all. More visual proof that capitalism works!
Orchids to Nathan’s Air Conditioning and Heating. My unit had several problems, it was nice to have a knowledgeable technician and office staff. Both kept me informed about the repairs that needed to be done. Costs were reasonable. J. Somerville
Orchids to Ryan working in the cell phone area of Walmart. You were very patient and informative. Thank you for helping with our smart phone and the texting problems. You are an asset to this department! The Old Couple
Orchids to all the wonderful people that helped me find my little beagle Mini Cooper. Something scared her and she ran one mile from work. Many people tried to help. She is fine now, home with four burned feet, but safe and sound. I cannot be more grateful.
