Custer woman pleads to drug possession
A Custer woman pleaded guilty to possession of less than 25 grams of cocaine and driving under the influence of drugs Tuesday in 51st Circuit Court.
Marilyn Schultz, 59, of 2526 Sanders Road, entered her plea to those charges as part of the plea agreement reached between Prosecuting Attorney Paul Spaniola and her attorney Douglas Stevenson. Charges of possession of oxycodone, methadone possession and hydromophone possession were dismissed.
Stevenson said that Schultz had completed a residential treatment program since her arrest last December. He added that his client has major medical issues.
The plea agreement calls for her to serve 90 days in jail up front of a one year term with the amount of probation to be determined later.
