Police make arrests in ‘organized theft’
HARLINGEN — Police have arrested three men in connection with what they are calling an organized theft.
According to initial reports, a man walked into the Treasures & Trash Re-Sale store at 301 N. 1st St. Thursday afternoon, produced a handgun and demanded money. He then fled the scene.
“After investigation detectives were able to determine that the suspects, including employees of the business, are alleged to have worked together to stage the robbery,” police said in a statement.
One of the suspects, Tyrone B. Outlaw, 26, of Harlingen, who is a store employee, was arrested during the initial investigation, police said. Edward Julian Sanchez-Anaya, 21, of Harlingen, allegedly was the driver of a stolen suspect vehicle and also was arrested, police said.
Christian Ochoa, 26, of Dallas, also was arrested, police said.
