Rock & Roll Hall of Fame lands noteworthy Pearl Jam guitar

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Pearl Jam fans have a new reason to visit the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

The museum has added the guitar used by Mike McCready during Pearl Jam’s 2008 VH1 “Rock Honors” tribute to The Who to its Guitar Gallery. The gallery opened last year and features guitars from John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Jerry Garcia and others.

The Rock Hall has also added items from 2013 inductee Heart. A guitar played by Nancy Wilson during the band’s 1988 “Animals” tour, along with a dress worn by singer Ann Wilson during Heart’s tour in support of “Dreamboat Annie” have set up shop in the museum’s “Legends of Rock” exhibit.
