Frigid, cloudy with breezy winds for Tuesday in Akron: Weather forecast

AKRON, Ohio – The chilly pattern will continue another day in Akron, with cloudy skies and breezy winds adding to the bitter cold.

If you’re up early for the morning commute, definitely grab the parka, hat and mittens. Wind chills will hover around zero degrees, with actual temperatures closer to the teens. For the afternoon, don’t expect a big warm-up. Temperatures will stay in the teens for the warmest part of the day, with chills not making it out of the single digits. In the evening, chills will dip below zero.

Most of the day is looking pretty gray and cloudy, but some clouds may begin to clear toward the evening. At most you may notice some flurries, but the real threat of snow will focus north in the lake-effect belt, where up to a foot could accumulate.
