Oklahoma oilman Hamm named Trump economic policy adviser
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has named an Oklahoma oilman to his team of economic policy advisers.
The advisers named Friday by the Trump campaign include Continental Resources Inc. CEO Harold Hamm.
Hamm has supported Trump and spoke during the Republican National Convention last month. He has previously been involved in local and national political discussions and helped lead the successful effort to repeal the United States’ 40-year ban on oil exports. In 2012, he was an energy adviser for Republican nominee Mitt Romney.
