John Gibson joins Wayne fair board

LAVALETTE — John Gibson of Lavalette recently joined the Wayne County Fair Board.

Gibson is married with one daughter who attends Lavalette Elementary School. He is a graduate of Marshall University with a bachelor of science in computer and information technology.

Gibson is an employee of Suddenlink Communications and brings expertise in audio and visual engineering for the fair’s nightly entertainment.

The Wayne County Fair Board welcomes new members interested in organizing and implementing the fair. Monthly meetings are at 6:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of every month in the Wayne High School cafeteria.
