Critical Power Products and Services has relocated to Post Falls.

The owner and CEO, Will Alt, purchased the assets of a Washington company last year and made the move to a new18,000-square foot building at 4140 W. Grange Ave.

The company sells new and refurbished equipment for power generation and backup infrastructure, such as uninterrupted power supply units. Critical Power is a single point of contact for customers who want to dispose of and/or purchase data center and power equipment, according to a company news release.

Alt, 35, is an Army veteran and Hauser Lake resident. He spent five years in the service, including overseas tours, where he was attached to a multinational explosive ordinance training team.

“Our company is proudly veteran owned and operated,” Alt said.

Critical Power’s 24 employees include several veterans. The company recently unveiled a Fallen Soldiers Memorial in front of its headquarters.
