Detroit men arrested on drug charges
HUNTINGTON — Two men from Detroit were arrested Wednesday on drug charges after being found in possession of a distribution amount of heroin and fentanyl and firearms, according to a news release from the Huntington Police Department.
Antione Lee “C” Qualls, 36, and Antonia Maurice Davis, 27, were arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm. They were found to be in possession of approximately 100 grams of heroin and fentanyl, $10,521 in cash and four firearms.
Both men are believed to be convicted drug felons. Davis was one of “Detroit’s Most Wanted” in February 2015.
The two were arrested after members of the Huntington Violent Crime Drug Task Force were conducting surveillance in the vicinity of 11th Street and 12th Avenue and observed a person of interest in a recent homicide investigation.
