Pole barn destroyed in Free Soil structure fire
FREE SOIL — A pole barn was destroyed Tuesday night in a structure fire on Custer Road, according to Free Soil Fire Chief Vince Williams.
The Custer, Fountain, Free Soil and Grant Township fire departments responded at about 10 p.m. to a report of a fully-engulfed structure fire on North Custer Road between East Freeman Road and the Village of Free Soil.
The fire was knocked down within 20 minutes, Williams said.
There were no injuries.
The pole barn was owned by Adams Construction, according to Williams.
The Mason County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene.
