Watertown lacrosse drops Kettle Moraine
Watertown’s lacrosse boys varsity club will be heading into two games this week while trying to build on last week’s momentum.
They took on Kettle Moraine’s second varsity team and came out victorious (15-7) with a barrage of goals from all over the field. The game started with a goal from Klayton Kopet (long pole defensive player) navigating end to end for the score. The goals continued from there: Preston Borchardt 4; Dylan Dittberner 4; Evan Meyers 3; as well as one goal by Griffin Harris, Logan Berg, Devin Ramos and Ethan Walter.
First, the Goslings will take on Oregon on the road for a big conference matchup today.
Then, on Friday night, the boys will be hosting Madison East under the lights at Landsverk Field at 7 p.m. In addition to its first chance to play under the lights, the team will be honoring graduating seniors in a halftime ceremony. Also, there will be giveaways throughout the game.
