CLEVELAND (AP) _ The Cleveland Cavaliers will not pick up the option on the contract of guard Trajan Langdon, who becomes eligible for free agency after the season.

The team Wednesday did exercise the fourth-year option on forward Jumaine Jones, who was acquired in a trade with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Langdon was the 11th overall pick in the 1999 draft but has averaged just 5.8 points a game in two seasons. The former Duke guard still can re-sign with Cleveland after the season.

He scored 13 points on 5-for-13 shooting in Cleveland’s 108-89 season-opening loss to Boston on Tuesday night.

Jones scored 12 points in his debut with the Cavs on Tuesday.

In August, the Cavaliers sent forwards Matt Harpring and Cedric Henderson and center Robert Traylor to the 76ers for Jones and Tyrone Hill, who is sidelined with back spasms.

He was Philadelphia’s first-round pick (27th overall) in 1999. Last season, he averaged 4.7 points in 65 games for the Sixers.
