U.S. Needs to Take Action by Building a Wall

January 16, 2019

On Dec. 26. Cpl. Ronil Singh, a police officer in California, an industrious legal immigrant from Fiji, was shot and killed a person living here illegally.

On Dec. 29, Pierce Corcoran, a 22-year-old man, was killed by a person living illegally in Knoxville, Tenn.

Thousands of Americans have lost their lives because of uncontrolled, illegal migration.

To protect American citizens, President Trump is proposing to build a wall on our southern border. A nation that fails to control its borders cannot take care of basic obligations to its citizens: physical safety, economic security, essential public services and the protection of our laws.

The battle between the Congressional Democrats and the Trump Administration continues over construction of a border wall along the U.S./Mexican border. Many of these same Democrats who are now calling a border wall immoral, ineffective and expensive believed a fence was necessary and moral in 2006, when they voted for the Secure Fence Act.

Sens. Schumer, Clinton, Obama, Biden, and 23 other Democrat senators voted in favor of a border fence. How much more American blood must we shed before the Democrats wake up?

According to Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) Illegal immigration costs America $116 billion a year in education, welfare, health care and public housing, funded by the American taxpayer.

End this crisis. Secure our border. We need to take action to support America’s freedom for the next generation. Our nation’s future is at stake.
