1 killed, 1 injured in rollover on Interstate 90
DRUMMOND, Mont. (AP) — The Montana Highway Patrol says a 16-year-old Helena girl has died and a man has been injured in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 90.
The crash occurred just west of Drummond on Wednesday night when their eastbound car drifted onto the shoulder, overcorrected across both lanes and the median and into the westbound lanes where it rolled.
Granite County Sheriff Scott Dunkerson identified the girl as Erika Kruger. He says she was thrown from the vehicle and died on the scene from blunt force trauma.
The man was flown to a hospital in Missoula with serious injuries.
