Badgers men’s soccer: Wisconsin’s Christopher Mueller named first team All-Big Ten

University of Wisconsin junior forward Christopher Mueller was named first team All-Big Ten, the league announced on Friday.

Mueller, who led the team in points (22), goals (6) and assists (10), is the first Badger to earn the honor since 2013.

Juniors Mike Catalano and Mark Segbers, along with sophomore Sam Brotherton, each earned were named to this year’s All-Big Ten Second Team. Freshmen Elan Koenig and Noah Leibold were named to the All-Big Ten Freshman Team. UW senior Brian Hail earned the team’s Sportsmanship Award.

The Badgers tied for second place in the Big Ten during the regular season and will enter the Big Ten tournament as the No. 3 seed. They host No. 6 seed Ohio State on Sunday at noon.
