Longmont Man Killed in Saturday Crash Identified
The Boulder County Coroner’s Office has identified a man killed Saturday in a two-vehicle crash in Longmont as 51-year-old Glen Carvill.
Carvill was a Longmont resident, according to a news release from the coroner’s office, which conducted an autopsy. His cause and manner of death remain under investigation.
Carvill was westbound on 17th Avenue west of Hover Street on Saturday afternoon when an eastbound vehicle struck the median and flew into the westbound lanes and struck Carvill’s vehicle.
Carvill and his dog died at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, Longmont police said on Tuesday.
