Body of missing Texas man found in southwest Arkansas bayou
TEXARKANA, Ark. (AP) — The body of a missing Texarkana, Texas, man has been found in a submerged vehicle in a bayou in southwest Arkansas.
Arkansas State Police Capt. Brady Gore tells the Texarkana Gazette that the body of 33-year-old Reuben Madison was found Monday morning in the car in McKinney Bayou along U.S. Highway 82 in Miller County.
Gore says it appears Madison drove off the highway in a curve and his vehicle crashed into the bayou early Sunday.
Gore says Madison was returning home after visiting a relative in Arkansas and family members searched for him Sunday before reporting him missing.
