Jockey Silks Coloring Contest winners announced
Paxton McGary of Grovetown, Georgia, was the winner of the Jockey Silks Coloring Contest, sponsored by the Aiken Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame and Museum, Aiken Training Track and Aiken Steeplechase Association.
His yellow-and-green entry featured the Aiken Training Track sign in its design.
McGrary received a Breyer My Dream Horse customizing kit, an Aiken Trials T-shirt, a T-shirt from the Aiken Steeplechase Association, a “Great Racehorses” coloring book and a “How to Draw Horses” book.
Emma Lawler of Aiken finished second in the contest with her entry, which had a horse’s tail on it and blue-and-red stripes.
Henry Morehouse of Aiken earned the third-place award with a design that featured a candy cane, a Christmas tree ornament and a horse’s head.
