Hanover Twp. Police Investigating Threatening Message At Chewy
Hanover Twp. police are investigating a message threatening violence that was allegedly left on a bathroom wall at Chewy.com, according to Chief Al Walker.
Walker said police received a report about the alleged threat Wednesday but did not see it because it was removed from the wall and they did not have direct access to it.
An internal investigation is underway at Chewy.com as well, he said.
Roxsanne Tai, spokeswoman for Chewy.com, said they are still gathering information.
According to Walker, the time of the alleged threat has expired and police have increased patrols in the area.
“In this day and age, we take threats and allegations of threats very seriously,” Walker said.
Chewy.com employs about 1,000 people in an 800,000-square-foot building in the Hanover Industrial Park. Check back for updates.
