It’s a 10® Haircare Takes Stance against Animal Testing in Beauty Industry with Shark Adoption

NEW YORK, Jan. 8, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- It’s a 10 Haircare, the go-to salon professional, hairdresser-owned brand is taking a stance against animal cruelty and testing, which is especially rapid in the beauty and cosmetics industry. To do this, the brand’s CEO & Founder, Carolyn Aronson is proud to announce her support of the Guy Harvey Research Institute in its mission to conduct cutting edge research to help the conservation of sharks around the world. In an effort to help the cause, Aronson and her brand have adopted the “It’s A 10” Mako Shark to help research the species patterns and habits and overall ensure its safety in the wild, free from capture.

With shark populations rapidly declining, due in part to the beauty industry’s need Squalene from shark liver oils in the production of many cosmetics and personal care items, It’s a 10® Haircare and Aronson decided to step in to avoid the inevitable endangerment of the species.
