Montana St. 78, Idaho 70

BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) _ Nico Harrison scored a career high 29 points to help Montana State hold off Idaho 78-70 in Big Sky Conference play Saturday night.

The Bobcats (14-6 overall, 6-1 Big Sky) outscored Idaho 6-2 in the final 1:37 to hold a share of the league lead at the halfway point of the season.

Idaho (9-9, 3-4) scored only one field goal in the final 5:11, but still managed to pare a 69-59 MSU lead to just four points on two occasions in the final two minutes.

Quadre Lollis, who scored 24 points, hit a short jumper with 26.1 seconds and added two free throws 10 seconds later to help the Bobcats hold Idaho at bay.

Idaho was led by Jason Jackman with 14 points, followed by Reggie Rose with 11 and Harry Harrison with 10.

Montana State shot 50 percent from the floor, but hit just 3 of 19 from 3-point range. MSU outrebounded Idaho 34-29, led by Lollis with 12.
