Alison Krauss brings summer tour to Pittsburgh’s Benedum
The sweet voice of Alison Krauss filled the Benedum Center Friday night backed by her team of Union Station musicians.
The country and bluegrass star drew a few numbers from her latest Windy City album, like “River in the Rain” and “Gentle On My Mind.”
Of course, fans crave every opportunity to sing along to “Down to the River to Pray,” boosted by the 2000 crime comedy film “Oh, Brother, Where Art Thou?” and Krauss delivered on queue, beautifully.
Ron Block, Jerry Douglas, Barry Bales and Dan Tyminski accompanied Krauss.
