Missing girl found in Chubbuck
After being missing for two weeks, Jennifer Schwindt has finally been found.
Schwindt was first reported missing by her family April 3, after she disappeared from her Chubbuck home on the night of April 2.
Chubbuck police worked tirelessly to find any information related to her disappearance, interviewing her friends and family and searching her phone, which she had left behind.
Additionally, Schwindt’s mother, Leslie Egbert, started an aggressive social media campaign in an attempt to find her daughter, posting photos and videos every day, some of which were shared over 30,000 times.
Chubbuck police reported Monday afternoon that Schwindt had been located in the area and was in good health. Egbert posted on Facebook that she received the call her daughter had been found at around 1:30 p.m.
Chubbuck police revealed that the results of their investigation seemed to lead to Schwindt being a runaway, and they are still treating the case as such.
They also reported that multiple officers had been involved in the search, calling it an “all hands on deck case.”
