Deputy prosecutor to work in Noble County
A veteran Allen County deputy prosecutor will serve as chief deputy to Noble County Prosecutor-Elect Jim Mowery.
Adam Mildred, 47, currently serves in the major felony division of the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
“I look forward to serving the people of Noble County,” Mildred said in a statement Wednesday. “I share Jim Mowery’s insistence that victims must be heard in our courts. The injuries they suffer affect us all.”
Mildred became a lawyer Nov. 3, 1997, and first worked for the city of Fort Wayne as a policy research assistant. He then became a deputy prosecutor in 1998. He started in the misdemeanor and traffic division, serving as its section chief until 2000, when he was promoted to the felony division. He also served in the drug division and is currently in major felony.
He also served as the criminal law instructor for the Northeast Indiana Public Safety Academy, teaching new police recruits about criminal law and procedure. “I love being a prosecutor, because you get to work with heroes every day... people that have volunteered to be ‘the Help’ when people call out for it. I look forward to working with the officers from each community in Noble County as a part of Prosecutor Mowery’s team,” Mildred said.
